Childish Gambino's decision to wear a pair of grey tracksuit bottoms without his shirt in the video allows the viewers to identify 'his humanness" as he raps about violent contradictions that come with being a black person in America. The start of the music video is in a tranquil, quiet setting but after the loud gunshot it changes to an almost aggressive beat within the music. This was clearly chosen by the producers to the represent the artists real and unafraid personality, sharing the real world to his mixed audience with the outcome that we live in a sinister and sick world. 1.What have you learned? During the process of filming and editing my music video I have learnt that a complete storyboard and plan is necessary to be able to film a successful music video with a clear narrative to entice an audience. I have also learnt that a song that you are able to apply you storyline is key along with a song you that inspires you to be able to achieve success. When creating a music video I learnt that mise-en-scene is extremely important in different ways depending on style if is conventional or mainstream either way shows a level of pure professionalism. 2.If you encountered any problems? Whilst editing my music video I realised that I hadn't filmed enough shots so had to re-use some making it sometimes quite repetitive, so learnt that filming additional shots and extras are important just in case this is a problem.
