Defining my perfect audience member.

Define your perfect audience member, taking into consideration the audience stated on the brief.  Create a complete picture of your audience member, from clothes to the food they eat, music they listen too.  You can get a friend to dress up in the appropriate costume and take photos (social distancing dependent).  Post about how your video is going to attract your ‘perfect audience member’. NB Your audience is A socially-conscious, 16–25, middle to upmarket demographic approx. 2 hours

Brief : 16-25 year old, socially conscious, middle to upmarket demographic.

The 'perfect' audience member for my music video would be those aware of global trends and socially aware of the inequalities between men and women still lurking in our society today. The music video probably attract female viewers but also is important to share the main idea of the importance of female sucess and how this is looked down on by many people. They are empowered by female success and will do their best to spraed information to bridge inequality in a highly male dominated, patriarchal world. They are interested in standing up in what they believe in, they may faced obstacles in lets say work placemnt where they are seen as weak and unable to do tasks therefore unable to gain inpendnce due to male dominance, or could be a young socially aware person who is eager for change so when they are able to work they will be able to be a strong independent women. This video is not only aimed at a female audience it is important for a young male audience to be aware of this problem as they will be the next generation who hopefully won't have this world-wide problem and that it is abolished.They are generally determined person who is motivated by living life to the fullest and not having to be restricted by inequality and be successful as a powerful women.

 My 'perfect' audience member would regard possibly mainstream trends, they would be interested popular, fashionable trends, they would look very stylish and get inspiration from celebrities and the pop culture. They are interested in pop music and would stand out in a crowd, but do not dress up to catch male attention for their own fulfilment and to feel powerful. 

 How will my music video attract this person?

My music video will attract this person by having a meaning and relevant storyline, it will leave the audience member feeling inspired and ready to promote change. The music video will remind any age and gender of the ongoing problem which is gender inequality and will leave them feeling motivated and come to terms with importance of this topic to lead tp greater women's success. This music video will be inspired by 80's and 90's pop music video and also incorporate styles from modern day music videos which involve dancing and are very sleek and stylish.

Destiny's Child has a clear and direct gaze towards the camera, sat in similar positions with their legs crossed and open with a almost confrontational/sassy and direct facial expression. COVID-19 explanation for the music video

Explanation for Independent Women. Pt, 1 (Covid-19 Updated)  Originally, for my music video I wanted to portray a young women who has just gone through a toxic breakup in which was holding her down from achieving her dreams. The video will of shown aspects of gender inequality within the workplace and life in general, and how feminism can sometimes be seen in lacking in intersectionality.
